Galatasaray Midfielder Belhanda Faces Uncertain Future Amid Performance Concerns

At odds with the staff of his club, Galatasaray, Moroccan international Younès Belhanda could return to the bench of his former club, Montpellier. He is blamed for his anger against the supporters in the Champions League against Real Madrid and his drop in performance this season.
At Galatasaray since 2017 for four years, Younès Belhanda has a substantial salary (3.37 million euros) to be up to the expectations of his team. However, his recent performances do not seem to satisfy the Galatasaray staff, reports Hespress.
Added to this is his discourteous behavior towards the supporters after his substitution during the defeat of his club against the Merengues in the Champions League. As proof of his isolation in the club, Younès Belhanda has been sidelined by his coach, Fatih Terim, for the next Cimbom match against Rizespor.
Now in a delicate situation, Younès Belhanda could find support from one of his former clubs, Montpellier, where he played at the start of his career, if the situation becomes complicated at Galatasaray.
According to recent statements by his former coach, Younès should not worry too much about the turn of events in Turkey. In the media, Louis Nicollin indicated that the door of Montpellier is open to him.
