Fundraiser Launched for Arrested Paris Healthcare Worker Facing Trial

Present at the demonstration of healthcare workers, Farida C., 50 years old, arrested on June 16, will be tried on September 25. A kitty has been launched on the PayPal platform to help her bear the legal costs.
Healthcare personnel and all goodwill are all mobilized to raise this collection of money, reports Le Parisien.
In the introductory message on the platform to present the kitty, Imen, Farida’s daughter, specified that the entire kitty will be used for her mother’s legal costs. She risks 3 years in prison and a fine of 45,000 euros. "To fight the injustice that strikes Farida and support the struggle of caregivers, it is essential to ensure a solid defense before the judges," she added.
According to the defendant, her presence at the scene had nothing to do with the throwing of stones, but rather to claim the rights of caregivers.
