Moroccan Student in France Launches Crowdfunding Campaign to Pay Tuition

Without financial resources, Amine Abounour, a young Moroccan student at a business school in Dijon, has launched an online crowdfunding campaign on the GoFundMe website to pay his tuition fees.
While he is aiming for a collection of 15,000 euros, the student has only raised 235 euros after seven days of launching this crowdfunding campaign, reports France bleu. The young Moroccan is studying this year at the Bourgoundy School of Business. His dream is to pursue a career in accounting. However, he is facing serious difficulties in paying his tuition fees and living decently in France.
If Amine Abounour finds himself in this precarious situation, it is because his parents, who live in Morocco, no longer support him as they did at the beginning of his time in France. His father has been without income for some time. His mother is the only one now taking care of the family, with the meager resources she has. As a result, the young Moroccan student is unable to pay his tuition fees and his living expenses (housing and food).
All his attempts to get a student loan have failed. A volunteer at SOS Travelers in Dijon, Amine Abounour is looking for a job to be financially self-sufficient. He also intends to undergo a work-study program.
