Fuel Prices in Morocco Set to Spike: Gasoline Up 30 Cents, Diesel 10 Cents per Liter

Car owners will have to dig into their pockets again. Starting tomorrow, Monday, July 15, pump prices will see a sharp increase, particularly for gasoline.
A professional source confides to the website Le360 that a fuel price increase is expected from tomorrow, Monday, July 15, 2019. It is thus a question of about 10 cents for the liter of diesel, and nearly 30 cents for the gasoline.
The same source recalls that fuel companies in Morocco must communicate the tariff changes, either at the beginning or at the end of the month, in which case the increases (or decreases) are passed on directly at the pump.
It should be noted that since last Wednesday, July 10, crude oil prices have started to rise again due, in particular, to tensions with Iran, as well as a significant drop in US crude stocks. This was followed by a 4.4% increase in the Brent barrel, which was trading at $67.01.
