Fuel Prices in Morocco Drop After Months of Increases

After having experienced periods of increase for several months, the price of gasoline and diesel in Morocco seems to be stagnating and we have even seen decreases since last Tuesday.
This measure to lower fuel prices, which occurred in mid-October, would be explained by changes in the global market.
Thus, the price per liter of gasoline has fallen by 9 cents, while that of diesel has seen a drop of 29 cents.
This drop comes several days after the prices had seen an increase for several days between 9.83 and 9.87 DH for diesel and between 11.03 and 11.10 DH for gasoline, an increase of about 30 cents for diesel and 20 cents for gasoline.
With this drop that is taking place, the call from consumers urging the Government to correct the situation seems to have received a favorable response.
