Since January 1st, fuel prices have risen slightly. Gasoline at the pump has increased by 17 cents, and diesel by 15 cents.
Moroccans will have to spend more to refuel.
Indeed, new prices have been displayed at service stations since yesterday. Thus, the liter of diesel has crossed the symbolic bar of 10 dirhams in the capital, [Rabat], for an increase of 15 cents compared to the previous price schedule. The price of gasoline, for its part, has seen an increase of 17 cents.
Given the observed increase in the price of a barrel of oil, it is very likely that the price increase will continue over the next few weeks.
