Moroccan Fuel Prices Drop Sharply as Global Oil Costs Decline

Good news for Moroccan drivers and transporters. According to Jamal Zrikem, president of the national federation of owners and managers of service stations, fuel prices recorded a significant drop on Sunday in various regions of Morocco.
Jamal Zrikem indicated to the Arabic website alyaoum24.com that fuel prices are down sharply at all service stations in Morocco.
He explained this drop by the fall in oil prices on the world market. Thus, diesel at the pump will cost 40 cents less per liter, while the price per liter of gasoline will drop by 36 to 37 cents.
He also stressed that "service station owners and managers have nothing to do with the rise or fall in fuel prices that Moroccans sometimes complain about".
