French Tourist Surge Boosts Agadir’s February Visitor Numbers

New year, new increase in the number of tourists in Agadir with a strong increase in most source countries during the month of February, particularly those from France.
Thus, there were 16,285 tourists from the hexagon who visited the Pearl of the South last February, compared to 13,217 tourists during the same period last year, an increase of 23.21%. British tourists were 10,949 to spend their holidays in February, compared to 7,486 in February 2018, an increase of more than 46%. The same is true for Germany, whose nationals were 9,879 to have visited Agadir in February (against 9,280).
For their stay, tourists primarily choose 4-star hotels, then vacation clubs and finally 5-star hotels, according to the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) of Souss-Massa in its latest data.
It should be noted that it is the nationals who are largely at the top of the tourists in Agadir with 23,453 people in February, against 17,930 in 2017, a strong increase of more than 30%.
