French Tourism to Agadir Rises Nearly 6% in January, Outpacing Other European Visitors

The French have again been very numerous to go to Agadir last January, according to the figures just released by the Regional Tourism Council of Souss-Massa.
Thus, tourists from the Hexagon spent a total of 94,734 nights, compared to 89,428 nights recorded in January 2018, an increase of 5.93%, we read in this report, which reports a drop in overnight stays of German tourists of 12.64%, to 67,370. Tourists from Great Britain take 3rd place with 57,994 nights, a strong increase of 24.98% year-on-year.
Domestic tourists spent 52,268 nights in Agadir during the first month of the year, a slight increase of 1.15% compared to January 2018, we are also informed.
For their stay in the capital of the Souss, tourists prefer tourist villages (115,772 nights), 4-star hotels (100,753 nights), and finally 5-star hotels (71,968 nights).
