French Nationals Arrested in Morocco for Reckless Driving and Public Safety Threats

Two Frenchmen were arrested on Saturday in Tangier by security police. They are accused of dangerous driving threatening the safety of motorists and pedestrians.
One of the suspects is a French national of Moroccan origin, while the other is a French national of Algerian origin. According to the explanations of a security source, they were in a car registered abroad and were drifting, a dangerous driving behavior threatening the safety of motorists and pedestrians, reports Hespress. He is also said to have insulted a public official in the performance of his duties.
The investigators were able to identify the two suspects as part of the search procedures. They then proceeded to arrest them in a hotel. For now, they have been placed in custody as part of an investigation being conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office.
