French Muslims to Celebrate Eid al-Fitr on March 30, 2025

Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, 2025 in France, the Great Mosque of Paris has just confirmed. Here is the full message of this announcement.
Our religious commission met at the Great Mosque of Paris, with several national Muslim federations, for the Night of Doubt on this Saturday evening, March 29, 2025, the 29th day of the blessed month of Ramadan 2025-1446/H.
The commission noted the possibility of observing the new moon and thus determined the date of Eid al-Fitr in France on:
SUNDAY, MARCH 30, 2025
To welcome the faithful in the best conditions, the Great Mosque of Paris will organize two Eid al-Fitr prayers:
• 1st prayer at 8:00 a.m.
• 2nd prayer at 8:45 a.m.
We ask the faithful to be careful about the switch to daylight saving time which will occur precisely this Sunday, March 30, 2025: at 2 a.m., it will actually be 3 a.m.
If Ramadan comes to an end, we invite the Muslims of France to preserve the devotion, kindness and solidarity with which they have traveled through this blessed month, for the good of the whole society.
We implore Almighty and All-Merciful Allah to accept our fasting and welcome our prayers.
The Great Mosque of Paris wishes its best wishes to the Muslims of France and the world.
Eid Mubarak!
