French Muslim Council Announces Eid al-Fitr Date for 2025

Started on March 1, the month of Ramadan is gradually coming to an end. The Muslim Theological Council of France (CTMF) has announced the date of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the fasting period.
When will Muslims in France celebrate Eid al-Fitr this year? According to the Muslim Theological Council of France (CTMF): "The conjunction (new moon) will occur, insha’Allah, on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 10:58 GMT (11:58, Paris time)."
For the theological body, the necessary conditions for observing the new crescent of Shawwal in the world will be met, insha’Allah, the next day, Sunday, March 30, from 00:12 GMT (01:12, Paris time). Thus, the first day of the month of Shawwal (Eid al-Fitr) will be, insha’Allah, Sunday, March 30, 2025.
As in 2024, the month of Ramadan should also last 30 days this year.
