French Murder Suspect Arrested in Morocco After 13-Year Manhunt

The Moroccan authorities proceeded, on Monday, to the arrest of a 34-year-old individual, suspected of being involved in a voluntary homicide committed on French soil, according to information communicated by a security source cited by the Map.
This arrest comes following a joint operation by the judicial police department of Rabat and the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, specifies the same source.
According to the information gathered about this case, which was revealed following an official denunciation by the French judicial authorities, the person concerned would be linked to a tragic incident that occurred in 2011. The same source specifies that he is accused of having inflicted fatal blows with a bladed weapon in Paris on a French national of Tunisian origin.
A custody order has been issued by the competent public prosecutor’s office in order to precisely establish the role of this individual in this case. The exact circumstances of the tragedy, as well as any other criminal acts attributed to him, still need to be clarified.
