French Expat Found Dead in Marrakech Massage Parlor, Suicide Suspected

In Marrakech, a French woman was found dead in a massage parlor located in the Al Kanaria district last Tuesday. Suicide is the preferred hypothesis.
An employee discovered, last Tuesday, the lifeless body of Anne-Marie, 75, a French woman who ran a massage parlor and found an empty box of medication (probably barbiturates) in the bathroom, reports Al Massae. The deceased suffered from nervous depression. According to the employee, this French national would have committed suicide by swallowing medication. A suicide committed a few weeks after the death of her husband due to complications from the coronavirus.
Informed, the judicial and scientific police services and the local authorities went to the scene. The victim’s body was transported to the morgue. The public prosecutor’s office will order an autopsy to ensure the hypothesis of suicide and determine the causes.
