Elderly French Woman Found Dead in Morocco; Husband with Alzheimer’s Arrested

The body of a 89-year-old French woman was found at her home on Wednesday in Témara. The suspect, her husband, would be suffering from Alzheimer’s. He was taken into custody for the needs of the investigation.
The victim was found dead with bruises and a deep wound, according to the General Directorate of National Security, quoted by the MAP. No break-in was found in the accommodation where this discovery took place, it was added.
Her 83-year-old husband was apprehended in the bathroom with numerous blood stains on his clothes and limbs. He would have symptoms of Alzheimer’s.
The latter is currently the subject of a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, while field research and genetic and technical expertise continue to determine the actual circumstances and causes of death, concludes the DGSN.
