French Expat Found Dead in Marrakech Apartment; Suicide Suspected

A French national residing in the city center of Marrakech was found dead in his apartment last Monday. The deceased is believed to have committed suicide.
The lifeless body of the 62-year-old man was discovered late in the evening. Alone in his apartment, the deceased took his own life using a rope.
The exact causes of the sexagenarian’s suicide are still unknown, reports the website Kech24, noting that an autopsy has been immediately ordered by the public prosecutor’s office.
An investigation has been opened by the elements of the national judicial police brigade, under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
