French Auto Parts Firm Tecma Expands to Tanger Med, Boosting Morocco’s Automotive Sector

The French company Tecma Global Solutions has set up shop in Tanger. The specialist in engineering and mold manufacturing for the automotive industry is targeting imports and the Moroccan market.
Installed on an area of 2,500 m² in Tanger Med, the new industrial unit of Tecma Global Solutions will help reduce delivery times and costs. It will also allow it to respond in a timely manner to customer needs. According to Challenge, this new facility also offers services for the renovation of industrial companies’ current assets (repair, maintenance, calibration, etc.).
At the head of the Tecma Global Solutions group since 2010, the date of its creation, its founder, Bertrand Velot, has sold the company to Charles-Henri Bureau. He was the former president of the Plastic Omnium group’s Asia subsidiary. The SME, based in Moncé-en-Belin, near Le Mans in France, has a turnover of 14 million euros.
