Franco-Moroccan Actor Saïd Taghmaoui Fined for Violating Morocco’s COVID-19 Restrictions

Another Moroccan actor caught in flagrant violation of the state of health emergency. It is the Franco-Moroccan actor Saïd Taghmaoui, who had to pay a fine of 300 dirhams as a penalty.
Saïd Thaghmaoui was not the only one arrested that day. He was in the company of 22 other people in a restaurant. All these people also paid the fine after being caught in flagrant violation of the state of emergency, decreed to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. The owner of the restaurant was heard by the authorities following this violation.
Moroccans are having a hard time digesting the extension of the state of health emergency and are waiting to be able to dispose of their time as in the past. But they are not at the end of their troubles, since next Thursday, the Council of Government will examine a draft decree relating to the extension of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory to fight against the spread of the coronavirus.
And to not make things better, a tightening of measures during Ramadan is planned. There is talk of a curfew brought forward to 7 p.m. or even 6 p.m. and the prohibition of tarawih prayers.
