France Reopens Visa Applications for Moroccan Travelers Amid COVID Restrictions

Moroccans have the possibility to apply for visas to France again. This announcement was made by the French embassy in Morocco.
Good news for visa applicants to France. Appointments for renewal of short-stay visas of one year or more issued by France are open from Tuesday, June 15, 2021, the French embassy in Morocco specifies. Beforehand, the application must be made online on the France-Visas website before any appointment at TLS.
Obtaining a visa is not, however, synonymous with automatic travel to France, Morocco being classified in the "orange zone", a country where the circulation of the virus still exists, but is under control and where there is no worrying variant. The entry conditions for travelers from the kingdom have been clearly defined. Vaccinated travelers (AstraZeneca) will have to present a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours or a negative antigen test of less than 48 hours before boarding, no test for them upon arrival on French territory, no quarantine; vaccinated travelers (Sinopharm) will have to present a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours or a negative antigen test of less than 48 hours before boarding, an antigen test upon arrival and will be subject to a 7-day quarantine.

French citizens (as well as their spouses and children), foreign nationals (European nationals and third-country nationals) residing in France (with a valid residence permit) and nationals of the European area as well as their spouses and children who are transiting through France to reach their main residence in a country of the European area do not need to demonstrate the compelling reason to enter France from Morocco.
