Former Moroccan Star Abdeslam Ouaddou Joins Algeria’s Coaching Staff

Former Moroccan international Abdeslam Ouaddou joins the technical staff of the Algerian national team. The intransigent Algerian coach has called him to strengthen the technical staff of the Fennecs, as assistant coach.
A new position for Abdeslam Ouaddou. The former central defender of Morocco is slamming the door of the French club AS Nancy-Lorraine, as coach of the youth categories. He is now embarking on a high-level professional career. According to obseralgerie.com, the Moroccan international, who hung up his boots in 2010, has been in contact with the officials of the Algerian Football Federation during the CAN 2019 final, won by the Fennecs.
The strong friendship that exists between Belmadi and Ouaddou has also favored his arrival on the Algerians’ bench. Abdeslam Ouaddou knows Belmadi well. The two friends were teammates at Valenciennes (2009-2010), where the coach of the Fennecs put an end to his well-filled playing career.
In addition to France, the two former footballers also collaborated in the technical staff of the Saudi club Lekhwiya, reports the same source. Now, alongside Djamel Belmadi, the former Moroccan international will be able to forge a solid coaching career before perhaps joining the Atlas Lions?
