Morocco Appoints Osian Roberts as National Technical Director for Football
Osian Roberts and Houcine Ammouta have just been appointed, respectively, as Technical Director and coach of the local team. This decision was made at the end of the last meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
The report of the Commission responsible for appointing the new Technical Director is now available. It lifts a corner of the veil on the new leaders of the technical staff of the Moroccan national football team.
The Welshman Osian Roberts has indeed been engaged, for five years, at the head of the National Technical Directorate, starting from September 2019, indicated the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), in a press release which also announces that Houcine Ammouta is the new Coach of the national team of local players.
Thanks to his 12 years of experience, acquired in the field of technical management and training in his country, Osian Roberts, expert and Director of Training at the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), has convinced the officials of the Federation, who have finally chosen his profile.
The under-20 national team is entrusted to Jamal Sellami, while the Frenchman Patrice Beaumelle takes over the under-23 national team.
