Former Moroccan Soccer Star Oussama Assaidi’s Home Burglarized in Amsterdam

The Amsterdam police arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of being involved in the burglary of the home of former professional footballer Oussama Assaidi.
The police operation took place on Friday afternoon, following an investigation by the judicial police in the Rozengracht neighborhood of Amsterdam, reports the local press.
The facts date back to last Thursday, around 6:30 p.m., when the police were alerted to a burglary in Abcoude. The perpetrator, armed, seized goods before fleeing. In his flight, he also stole a scooter to escape the police.
Oussama Assaidi, a former Moroccan international player and victim of this theft, revealed to the newspaper De Telegraaf that the loot consisted of two bags. He also claimed that the thief would have waited and threatened his wife with a firearm to force his entry.
