Former Moroccan Olympic Athlete Now Carries Cement Bags to Survive

The dissemination of his photos has moved many Moroccans. He is Abderrahim Ben Redouane, a former high-level athlete who is now fighting to support his family.
The former athlete who traveled the world for about twenty years, even participating in the Olympic Games and the World Athletics Championships, has lost everything and now works in Rabat as a carrier of cement bags.
He looks back on his career, his downfall and does not hesitate to settle scores with the former officials of the Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation who, he says, did not lend him a hand when he needed help.
