Floods in Morocco: rails submerged, thousands of passengers blocked

The situation is particularly difficult for students, many of whom were on their way to their exam centers. Blocked on the platforms, they had to face the stress of missed exams, adding to the general discontent of stranded passengers far from home. Faced with this situation, the ONCF has assured that its teams are fully mobilized on the ground to evacuate the water and secure the points damaged by the heavy rains.

While apologizing for these inconveniences, the Office has reiterated that passenger safety remains its absolute priority. Restoration work is continuing under close supervision, as the capricious weather makes technical interventions delicate. The ONCF calls on travelers to cooperate while awaiting a return to normal "as soon as possible".
