LGV Kénitra–Marrakech: the ONCF launches an international tender for the new stations and technical centers

The National Railway Office (ONCF) is active in the realization of the High-Speed Line (LGV) Kenitra–Marrakech. In this sense, it has just launched an international tender with pre-selection for the construction of the new stations, technical centers and maintenance stations.

The National Railway Office (ONCF) has launched a vast tender for the construction of the new stations and maintenance centers. The ONCF intends to equip the future section with a modern railway infrastructure adapted to the expected growth in traffic. The tender is structured into nine distinct lots, divided according to the geographical areas and the types of infrastructure to be built, says Le360.

The first lot concerns the Grand Stade de Hassan II station, the second, the Casa Sud station, the third (Gare Marrakech Guéliz and Technicentre de Marrakech), the fourth, Casablanca Airport station) and the fifth, Rabat-Salé Airport station. Then come the set of stations and maintenance stations in Sidi Taibi, Sidi Bouknadel, Sidi Abdellah, Salé Tabriquet, Aïn Attiq, Zénata Ville Nouvelle, Skhirat and Mohammedia Facultés; the set of stations and stations in Mohammedia, Sidi Bernoussi, Aïn Sebaâ, Hay Mohammadi, Sidi Maarouf, Nouvelle Médina, Mers Sultan, Casa Oasis and Casa-Voyageurs; the set of stations and stations in Ville Verte LGV, Ville Verte RER, Sidi Bouathmane, Sidi Ghanem, Stade de Marrakech, Benguérir, Settat and Casa Sud, and finally the technical centers of Nouaceur and Fès, and the maintenance stations of Meknès and Sidi Kacem.

The selected companies will be responsible for the turnkey realization of each building, in accordance with the conceptual, functional and technical requirements set by the ONCF. What about the services? They cover all the work, from the construction of the stations and technical centers to the development of the outdoor, landscaped and commercial areas, as well as the intermodal areas (drop-off, taxis, parking, etc.).

As for the technical centers and maintenance stations, they will have to integrate equipped workshops for the maintenance of rolling stock, technical pits, tertiary areas for the staff, as well as landscaping.
