Tangier under water, scenes of chaos in several neighborhoods
Faced with massive flooding after the passage of Storm Harry, the city of Tangier has mobilized its emergency teams to assist the victims and restore traffic on the main roads.
During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, very heavy rains transformed the streets of Tangier into rivers. Motorists were surprised on the road, especially at the entrance to the city on the road to Tetouan. In some places, buses carrying workers and dozens of cars remained stuck because the sewers could no longer evacuate the water.
The disaster also affected homes in more neighborhoods of the capital of the strait. Water entered the houses, damaging the furniture and belongings of the residents. On social networks, videos show people trying to save what they can.
