Five Arrested in El Jadida for Violent Robbery and Knife Attack on Couple

Five people, aged 28 to 36, were arrested on the night of Saturday, July 6 to Sunday, July 7, 2019, in El Jadida. They are accused of belonging to a criminal gang specializing in theft with a knife.
The suspects are accused of having stolen a large sum of money as well as personal belongings belonging to a couple, on Avenue de France in El Jadida, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN). This theft was accompanied by stabbings.
Arrested immediately after the facts by the police, the suspects had in their possession various large knives, it is further specified.
Placed in custody, all 5 of them will be brought to justice as soon as the investigation currently being conducted by the police services is completed.
