Fiorentina Sets Deadline for Amrabat Transfer Amid Atletico Madrid Interest

Nothing is going well between Sofyan Amrabat and Fiorentina. The Italian club has given the Moroccan midfielder until August 28 to make a decision about his future. Several clubs like Atletico Madrid are ready to secure his services.
Fiorentina did not call up Sofyan Amrabat for the match against Rapid that was played on Thursday in Vienna as part of the Conference League. According to the Italian journalist Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the Italian club wants to quickly part ways with the Moroccan international and has even lowered in recent weeks the transfer price from 30 million to 20-25 million euros.
With a few days left before the summer transfer window closes, the midfielder still has the choice between Atletico Madrid and Manchester United. Sofyan Amrabat’s heart leans towards the Spanish club, after his failed transfer to Barcelona. Fiorentina’s high demands, which had asked for 30 million euros for the player, had hampered the negotiations. But with the reduction of his transfer price, Simeone is determined to do everything possible to recruit the Moroccan international before the end of the transfer window.
Manchester United, for its part, has not yet had its last say. The Premier League club is ready to spend around 30 million euros to acquire Sofyan Amrabat. The next few days will tell us more.
