Fiorentina Closes In on €4M Deal for Moroccan World Cup Star Sabiri

Sampdoria and Fiorentina continue negotiations for the transfer of Moroccan player Abdelhamid Sabiri.
According to the Italian press, Fiorentina would have offered to pay the sum of 4 million euros for the recruitment of the Moroccan international. European clubs like Fiorentina, Real Betis and Leeds United have turned their spotlights on Abdelhamid Sabiri after his performances at the 2022 Qatar World Cup. He delivered one of the assists that allowed Morocco to defeat Belgium.
Of all the clubs that have targeted the player, Fiorentina, where Sofyan Amrabat plays, is the one that has really advanced in the negotiations and has the best chance of securing the 24-year-old midfielder. According to Corriere dello Sport, Fiorentina hopes to have the player and then loan him to Sampdoria until June.
