Leeds United Eyes World Cup Star Abdelhamid Sabiri in Transfer Bid
Moroccan international Abdelhamid Sabiri could soon leave Sampdoria to join England’s Leeds United.
Sabiri actively participated in the historic run of the Atlas Lions at the 2022 Qatar World Cup. He notably scored a superb goal against the Red Devils of Belgium, in the second group stage match.
This good performance of the Moroccan attacking midfielder during the competition has seduced Leeds United, who are showing interest in him. Thus, the English club would have already started the steps for his transfer in the coming days. The 26-year-old player would be the priority of "The Whites" coach, Jesse Marsh.
Moreover, Sabiri is also on the radar of several other European clubs, including Fiorentina, who would have already made a concrete offer to secure his services during this winter transfer window. La Viola would have made an offer of 5 million to complete the operation.
