Fiorentina Eyes World Cup Standout Sabiri in Potential Midfield Boost

Moroccan international Abdelhamid Sabiri, who currently plays for Sampdoria, could soon change clubs. The attacking midfielder is on Fiorentina’s radar, who want to recruit him during this winter transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, the transfer of the Moroccan, author of a good performance at the 2022 World Cup, depends on the sale of Argentine Nicholas Gonzalez, on his way to Leicester City.
Negotiations are ongoing, the newspaper specifies, adding that the management of the Viola would have the necessary funds to buy the 26-year-old midfielder from Sampdoria.
If the operation materializes, Fiorentina will be able to form the excellent Moroccan pair in their midfield. Sabiri will indeed find his teammate in the national team, Sofyan Amrabat.
