Moroccan Midfielder Sabiri Scores in Return from Injury as Sampdoria Falls to Bologna

Healed from his injury, Abdelhamid Sabiri is gradually regaining his level of play. Lined up with Sampdoria for the match against Bologna, the Lion of the Atlas came out with a mixed record.
Injured during the match that opposed Sampdoria to Udinese Calcio, Abdelhamid Sabiri had made a timid return to the field on Monday last against Inter Milan (substitute in the 59th minute).
On Saturday, he also came on as a substitute, in the 65th minute, and scored a penalty goal in the 68th minute before missing a second one at the end of the game. Sampdoria of Genoa was therefore defeated 2-1, but the Moroccan defensive midfielder was able to mark his return with a goal.
Abdelhamid Sabiri was recruited by Fiorentina, who preferred to leave him on loan to Sampdoria until the end of his contract with the club. If he is not transferred this summer, he will join Fiorentina and will be able to play with Sofyan Amrabat.
