FIFA Sets Club World Cup Draw for January 13, Tournament Kicks Off February 1 in Morocco

The International Football Federation (FIFA) has just set the date for the draw of the 2023 Club World Cup, which will be held from February 1 to 11 in Morocco.
According to the announcement made on Thursday by the international football body, the draw for this competition, which brings together the Wydad of Casablanca (Morocco), Real Madrid (Spain), Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Flamengo (Brazil), Auckland City (New Zealand), Al Ahly (Egypt) and Seattle Sounders (USA), will take place on January 13.
FIFA also specified that the clubs Al Ahly and Auckland City will compete for a place for the second round, where Al Hilal, Seattle Sounders and Wydad await them. Only the winners of the two second-round matches will qualify for the semi-finals alongside Flamengo and Real Madrid.
