Real Madrid Favored to Win $5.4 Million Prize in FIFA Club World Cup Final

Real Madrid is in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup taking place in Morocco. The Spanish club is the favorite to win the title and should pocket 5 million euros if it does.
Real Madrid will face the Saudi team Al Hilal in the final of the Club World Cup on Saturday. The winner of the cup will pocket 5 million euros, against four million for the losing finalist. Flamengo of Brazil and the Egyptian team Al Ahly will fight to try to win the 2.5 million euros provided for third place. The loser of this match, who will finish fourth in the competition, will leave with 2 million euros. Wydad Casablanca and the American team Seattle Sounders, sixth in the Mondialito, will each pocket one million euros and the New Zealand team of Auckland, who will finish the competition in seventh place, will win 500,000 euros, reports Sport.es.
For the first and second rounds, ticket prices ranged from 50 to 100 dirhams (about 4.5 and 9 euros). For the semi-finals, they were between 100 and 200 dirhams (9 and 18 euros). And for the third place match and the final, the prices ranged from 200 to 400 dirhams (18 and 36 euros). The aim was to have a good atmosphere in the stands. The Al Hilal team, which will play the final against Real Madrid, will try to win the title to avenge the defeats suffered by Kashima Antlers in 2016 and Al-Ain in 2018, curiously against Real Madrid. The Saudi team has the highest revenues in the country with around 700 million riyals (around 190 million dollars), ahead of Al Nassr of Cristiano Ronaldo.
