Fez Mourns Police Officer Killed by Drunk Driver in Hit-and-Run

Senior officials from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) as well as many local and civilian personalities came to pay tribute to the policeman mowed down by a reckless driver in Fez.
The chief peace officer was organizing traffic on the Imouzzer road when he was deliberately hit by a drunk driver, the DGSN said the next day in a press release, which specifies that the investigation "led to the arrest of the suspect in record time".
Aged 32, the accused was placed in custody "in order to reveal the circumstances of this criminal act", writes the DGSN, whose director "gave his instructions to the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Social Works of National Security Officials to take charge of all the funeral expenses and to provide the necessary support and assistance to the family of the deceased".
