Pregnant Police Inspector Killed in Tragic Accident; DGSN Holds Solemn Funeral Service

The DGSN paid tribute to a pregnant policewoman who died on February 26 in a traffic accident in Taounate. The police organized emotional funeral services in Marrakech for this purpose.
Ikram Nouass was pregnant and leaving the provincial hospital of Taounate (her place of assignment) when she was hit by a car driving in reverse. She was at the hospital for a consultation. Ikram was an inspector and was only 35 years old.
The DGSN paid tribute to her, last Wednesday, by organizing her funeral. The police chief of Marrakech, Essaid Alioua, her colleagues, her family, her loved ones, and citizens who came to pay tribute to her attended.
Abdellatif Hammouchi, the current Director General of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and Director of the General Directorate of Moroccan Territorial Surveillance (DGST), presented his condolences to the deceased’s family and gave orders to provide them with all necessary support, including financial, through the services of the DGSN Social Works Foundation.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Ikram Nouass was arrested and taken into custody.
