Fatal Crash on Spain’s N-340 Highway Claims Life of Moroccan Resident

A Moroccan resident in Barbate died as a result of a traffic accident that occurred on Monday on the N-340, between Tarifa and Algeciras, and also left two injured.
The accident occurred when the Mercedes vehicle carrying the deceased Moroccan and the two injured persons aged 67 and 68 left the road and overturned around 11:40 pm, reports Europa Sur, specifying that the injured were transferred to the Punta Europa hospital in Algeciras.
Denouncing this latest accident on this road that has become deadly for some time, the Popular Party (PP) of Tarifa insisted on Tuesday on the urgent need to rehabilitate the N-340 that goes from Tarifa to Algeciras. "This morning (Tuesday), we recorded two new accidents on this road and one of them caused the death of a person," lamented the party whose deputies in Congress, Ignacio Romaní and José Ortiz, have questioned the Spanish government on the subject.
