Fatal Collision: Motorcyclist Dies After Crossing into Casablanca Tram’s Path

A motorcyclist who collided head-on with a tram between the El Fida and Sraghna stations died, announced RATP Dev Casablanca in a press release.
The tragedy occurred last Friday when the motorcyclist crossed the "platform strictly reserved for the passage of trams," the statement continues, adding that "it must not be crossed in any case by other road users, whether motorists, motorcyclists or pedestrians."
Despite the emergency braking carried out by the tram driver, the latter hit the cab of the tram. He will die a little later of "his injuries in a hospital in the city where he was rushed in an emergency," RATP Dev specifies.
It also indicates that the "intervention teams of RATP Dev Casablanca, as well as the police and civil protection, were quickly dispatched to the scene of the accident."
