Fan Arrested After Pitch Invasion to Hug Moroccan Star Aboukhlal During Montpellier-Toulouse Match

The police arrested a supporter who embraced the Moroccan international Zakaria Aboukhlal a few minutes before the end of the match between Montpellier and Toulouse (1-2) on Sunday, April 9 at the Mosson stadium.
As the match was coming to an end, a supporter in his thirties wearing the Moroccan national team jersey entered the pitch to embrace the Toulouse player Zakaria Aboukhlal, reports Midi Libre. The security guards intervened to arrest him. Another incident occurred in the 89th minute.
A man also in his thirties entered the pitch to physically attack the assistant coach of Toulouse FC. According to BFMTV, it could be the Spaniard Carles Martinez Novell, appointed assistant of the TFC in December after the suspension of Michaël Debève. The security guards quickly arrested the alleged aggressor.
After their arrest, the two men involved in these two incidents were taken into custody.
