Toulouse FC Sidelines Star Striker Aboukhlal Amid Controversy

It seems that Zakaria Aboukhlal is no longer part of Toulouse FC’s plans for the upcoming matches. Does this situation announce the end of the Moroccan international’s adventure with the club?
While there are still three matches (Nice, Auxerre and Monaco) to be played in Ligue 1 before the end of the season, La Dépêche du Midi learns that Zakaria Aboukhlal (13 goals and six assists) should no longer play with Toulouse FC. The leaders of the Violets would have made a decision in this direction. The 23-year-old Moroccan international would thus pay dearly for the affairs in which his name is mentioned.
The player has been noticed for his refusal, like other Toulouse players, to wear the rainbow jersey against homophobia during the match against Nantes, and for a presumed violent altercation with the deputy mayor of Toulouse, Laurence Arribagé during the celebrations of the French Cup. Facts that resulted in the sideline of Zakaria by the purple club.
