Extreme Heat Wave Hits Morocco: Temperatures to Soar to 45°C (113°F)

Attention! Heat wave. It will be very hot in Morocco on Sunday and Monday, the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) just warned in a bulletin. Temperatures should reach 45 degrees.
Thus, temperatures will be between 42 and 45 degrees this Sunday in the provinces of Tata, Oued-Eddahab and Aousserd, while the regions of Boujdour, Smara, Assa Zag, Zagora, Errachidia, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Fquih Ben Saleh, Kelaa des Sraghna, Khouribga and Béni Mellal will record temperatures between 39 and 42 degrees.
On Monday, Morocco will also be affected by the heat wave with temperatures ranging between 42 and 45 degrees in Tata, Oued-Eddahab, Aousserd and Sidi Slimane, while in Boujdour, Smara, Assa Zag, Zagora, Errachidia, Larache, Ouezzane, Sidi Kacem, Taounate, Moulay Yaâcoub, Fès, Meknès, Khemisset, Fquih Ben Saleh, Kelaa des Sraghna, Khouribga and Béni Mellal, it will be 39 to 42 degrees.
