Extreme Heatwave Grips Morocco: Temperatures Soar to 47°C (116°F) in Multiple Provinces

Several Moroccan provinces will be affected this Wednesday by high temperatures. Temperatures between 38 degrees and 47 degrees are expected, according to the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN).
This Wednesday, temperatures between 43 and 47 degrees are expected in Assa Zag, Guelmim, Tata, Sidi Ifni, Marrakech, Rehamna, Kelaa Seraghna, Fquih Ben Saleh, Zagora, Settat, Khouribga, Beni Mellal and Taounate.
In Ouezzane, Chefchaouen, Taza, Guercif, Oujda, Nador, Driouech, Taourirt, Boulmane, Sefrou, Fez, Meknes, Moulay Yaacoub, Sidi Kacem, Khemisset, Khenifra, Ifrane, Ben Slimane, Youssoufia, Azilal, Chichaoua, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Errachidia, Chtouka Ait Baha, Tiznit and Laayoune, temperatures between 38 and 42 degrees are expected, DMN specifies.
