Extreme Heat Wave Grips Morocco: Temperatures to Soar Past 110°F in Multiple Provinces

A heat wave (42/46°C) will hit several Moroccan provinces from Saturday to Tuesday, according to the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
In an orange alert bulletin, the DGM forecasts temperatures ranging between 42 and 46°C in Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Khénifra, Béni Mellal, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Salah, Settat, El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Rehamna, Youssoufia, Marrakech, Chichaoua, Tata, Taroudant, Taounate, Taza, Moulay Yacoub. The same heat wave will be observed inland in the provinces of Essaouira, Sidi Ifni, Guelmim and Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane.
These excessive temperatures will also affect Ouezzane, Taounate, Meknès, El Hajeb, Taza, Moulay Yacoub, Sefrou, Fès, Sidi Slimane, Sidi Kacem, Khemisset, Khouribga, Khénifra, Béni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Sidi Bennour, Berrechid, Settat, Benslimane, Youssoufia, Chichaoua, Marrakech, Rehamna, El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Tata, Taroudant, Assa-Zag.
