Extreme Heat Wave Grips Morocco: Temperatures to Soar Above 45°C in Multiple Provinces

Orange-level heat waves are announced until Wednesday, October 2, in several provinces of the country, with temperatures ranging between 39 and 45°C, according to a press release from the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN).
According to the same source, in the press release, these high temperatures should affect several provinces: Aousserd, Assa-Zag, Boujdour, Chtouka-Ait Baha, Es-Semara, Inezgane-Aït Melloul, Guelmim, Oued Ed-Dahab, Taroudant, Tiznit, Tata, Tan-Tan, Tarfaya, Sidi Ifni and Laâyoune.
To these provinces are added others, such as Benslimane, Berrechid, Khemissat, Kelâa des Sraghna, Marrakech, Mediouna, Fkih Ben Salah, Nouacer, Rehamna, Salé, Settat, Sidi Bennour, Sidi Slimane, Youssoufia and, within the provinces of Rabat, Skhirat and Témara, with temperatures ranging between 39 and 42°C, according to the same source.
In addition, the provinces of Aousserd, Assa-Zag, Oued Ed-Dahab, Boujdour and Es-Semara will experience maximum temperatures between 40 and 44°C on Wednesday, October 2.
