Three European nationals, suspected of stealing luxury watches, were arrested on Wednesday at Agadir airport.
The arrest of the three individuals took place during border control operations at the airport, according to a press release from the DGSN, specifying that they were in possession of six luxury watches that could have been stolen.
According to the preliminary investigation, the defendants were about to board a flight to a European destination when the police elements of the district found on one of them a watch that had been reported stolen the day before in a hotel in the capital of Souss.
Aged 24 to 30 years old, these three suspects were taken into custody, pending the investigation conducted by the National Judicial Police Office (BNPJ), under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, in order to determine all the possible ramifications of this case, concludes the DGSN.
