Elderly Fraud Victim Leads to Arrest of Scammer in Moroccan Town

A scammer was arrested on Saturday by the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of Taouloukoult. He is accused of having swindled a septuagenarian to whom he promised favors in a legal case.
The accused managed to extort 7,000 dirhams from an old man, in order, he said, to help him win in an expropriation case pending before the court of first instance of Imintanout. But not only was the judgment not rendered in favor of the septuagenarian, but he refused to reimburse the money extorted. He even went so far as to threaten the latter with imprisonment, reports Aujourd’hui le Maroc.
This is how the old man referred to the public prosecutor at the court of first instance of Imintanout, to complain and expose his misadventure with this scammer, specifies the same source.
