Drunk Suspects Arrested in Tan-Tan After Violent Clash with Police

Three individuals were arrested by the national security elements in Tan-Tan. They would be involved in a case of public drunkenness and damage to public property, endangering the lives of others.
It was through alarming calls from the population that the police went to the scene to find that the three individuals, in an advanced state of intoxication, were causing trouble on Boulevard Mokhtar Soussi in Tan-Tan, according to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
At the sight of the patrol dispatched to the scene, the accused, in fierce resistance, began to throw stones and glass bottles. They even brandished a bladed weapon towards the security forces.
It was in this way that a police officer used his service weapon with the intention of stopping the three individuals in their violent resistance. But by accidentally pressing the trigger, the policeman was injured in the knee and one of his colleagues suffered a finger fracture, according to the DGSN press release.
The accused were taken into custody, pending the conclusions of the investigation to determine the details of this case and all the other criminal acts attributed to them, the same source concluded.
