Domestic Worker Arrested in Tangier for Fatal Assault on Elderly Employer

It all started with the notice received by the Beni Makada safety district station, indicating that the accused had assaulted her employer at her home located in the Guessous residence in Tangier, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security.

The immediate intervention of the police elements made it possible to arrest the suspect in the act of assaulting her victim with a blunt iron object.

The victim, seriously injured, was immediately evacuated to the nearest hospital to receive the necessary care. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries on arrival at the hospital, it is reported.

According to the DGSN, the object used in the assault was seized, while the suspect was arrested in an abnormal and highly impulsive state. She was taken into custody for the needs of the investigation.
