Delta tells Marrakech passengers to arrive four hours early—and bring a printed boarding pass
Passengers boarding a Delta flight from Marrakech cannot use smartphone check-in instead of a paper boarding pass. The airline recommends arriving four hours before departure and sets a specific check-in deadline.

A departure at 11:50 a.m., with passengers advised to arrive at the airport by 7:50 a.m. That is the schedule for passengers on Delta flight DL187, due to fly from Marrakech to Atlanta on Tuesday, October 27. At Marrakech-Ménara, the U.S. airline is asking travelers to allow four hours before departure.

The reason is the boarding pass. In its official notice about Marrakech, Delta says digital boarding passes are not accepted at the airport because of local rules. Each passenger must therefore collect a printed copy at the airline’s counter.
On the Fly Delta app, travelers can check in before arriving at the airport, scan their passport and complete the required forms. They must then collect the paper document from the Delta counters on the right-hand side of the terminal.
Four hours recommended, check-in counter closes 90 minutes before departure
The notice also gives a deadline: check-in closes 90 minutes before departure. For flight DL187, scheduled for 11:50 a.m., check-in therefore closes at 10:20 a.m. Delta’s four-hour recommendation is intended to give passengers time to complete the formalities.
The notice has been listed in the airline’s advisories since September. It is once again immediately relevant as seasonal direct flights between Marrakech and Atlanta resume after being suspended over the summer.

The route is due to resume from Marrakech on Tuesday, October 27, with departures on Thursdays and Saturdays thereafter, according to the schedule published for this period. The return flight is scheduled to operate on a Boeing 767-300.
In the opposite direction, Delta has scheduled flight DL186 to leave Atlanta on Monday, October 26, at 9:45 p.m., arriving in Marrakech the following morning. The aircraft is then due to depart for the United States at 11:50 a.m.
