Deadly Butane Gas Leak Claims Father’s Life, Hospitalizes Family in Moroccan Town

A macabre day, this Wednesday, February 5 in Martil, a few kilometers from Tetouan. An entire family was asphyxiated by butane gas in their home, resulting in the death of the father.
A family of 3 members was rushed to the Saniat Rmal hospital, where the 50-year-old father, a chronic kidney patient, succumbed to the complications of the intoxication.
His 20-year-old daughter was placed in intensive care, according to Akhbarona, which specifies that the mother’s vital prognosis is no longer engaged.
Several cases of butane gas poisoning have occurred in Martil in recent years, due to the widespread use of gas water heaters.
